All Steel – All Ride

Call it Adventure or Overland Bikepacking. Gyttja is a highly modular and customizable, rugged, reliable, and ultimately repairable bicycle platform designed to meet your everchanging needs and wishes. Handmade in Sweden by a family business who believes in Swedish steel, innovation, adaptability, and last but not least sustainability using European components.

We use Strenx and Docol Tube R8, the automotive steel, both manufactured by SSAB in Sweden. All Gyttja frames and bikes are made ready Pinion gearbox, neodrives hubmotor, UDH and DH fork, which means that you can at any time decide to up- or downgrade your ride to any or all of these options. With the detachable rear end, it’s highly compact to ship and easy to adapt to any user case. The weight of the frame is 2400-2500 g (with battery brackets for the e-assisted version 2800-3050g). Plus, the tail section which is 1700-1860g. Weight Limit is 180kg total system weight (bike with rider and luggage). We give a lifelong warranty on our frames for repair – no questions asked.

Why so modular?

We believe in giving you choices instead of limitations. This bike can for instance start out its life as a Single Speed, rigid fork bio-bike and be upgraded all the way up to a powerful E-bike with Downhill fork, Pinion gearbox 12-speed smart.Shift and neodrives hubmotor. Or the other way around. Or any way you prefer.
