\ud83d\udeb4\u200d\u2640\ufe0f Meet Pernille and Mikkel and hear the incredible story of their participation in Race Across America<\/strong><\/p>\n On June 14, 2025<\/strong>, Pernille and Mikkel stood side by side on the starting line in Oceanside, California. The preparation had taken two years<\/strong>. Planning, training, equipment, strategy, and most importantly, a solid team ready to support them through every day, every mountain and every moment of fatigue and doubt. <\/p>\n Race Across America (RAAM)<\/strong> is not just a bike race – it’s a journey into human endurance, willpower and teamwork<\/strong>.<\/p>\n A race where you race day and night, in shifts, without a break, from west to east – with one goal: to finish as fast as possible.<\/p>\n For Pernille and Mikkel, the goal was ambitious: But first they had to battle through the extreme conditions that RAAM is known for.<\/p>\n The first few days saw temperatures around 45 degrees during the day<\/strong> and 30 at night<\/strong>. The heat was relentless. Sleep was minimal. <\/p>\n But the caravan – consisting of 12 dedicated helpers<\/strong> in 4 vehicles<\/strong> (a motorhome, two support vehicles and a media\/processor van) – kept everything running smoothly. Food, fluids, navigation, communication and morale – everything had to play. <\/p>\n “It’s a wild piece of teamwork. A wild cycling experience,” they say. <\/p>\n And it was. A race filled with moments where the only thing that matters is the next pedal stroke.
