Welcome to Dalsland – Sweden’s gravel destination In the beautiful region of Dalsland, in West Sweden, you’ll find mile after mile of winding gravel roads which makes the area ideal for gravel cycling. And lots of great food places make it easy to combine your cycle tour with a pitstop.

Over 800 km gravel cycling! Enjoy the freedom of gravel roads edged by forests, thousands of lakes, rolling farmland and quaint mill towns, where you can cycle for hours without meeting any cars.
17 complete routes. The network of excellent gravel roads and low traffic rural roads provides a large choice of great routes. We give you a couple of our favourites, with GPX files and suggestions for interesting stops.
Two well signposted national and one regional bike route complement the gravel experience for those looking for easy planning and riding. Unionsleden, Vänerleden and Lelångenleden!
Never far to a pitstop. You’ll find lots of cycle friendly accommodation and food places here where you can top up your energy levels, as well as cycle hire and service stations in strategic spots.
No more then an hour from Gothenburg. Get on the train in Gothenburg and arrive about an hour later in Dalsland, ready to start your cycle adventure. Anyone coming by car will find plenty of convenient parking.
