Have you ever experienced bicycle theft? Chances are you have. Nationally in Denmark, bicycle theft accounts for approximately one third of all thefts and burglaries. Bicycle theft is an important, yet complex, issue – one that requires a multifaceted approach. Therefore, the Bicycle Embassy is organising a panel debate at this year’s Copenhagen Bike Show with representatives from the police, the insurance sector, civil society, the bicycle industry and the political sphere to address this very issue.
