Cikkel Copenhagen proudly presents our latest tribute design — created in honour of a true cycling icon: Michael Mørkøv.

The trophy cabinet speaks for itself. Olympic, World, European and Danish Championship medals stacked high — and a well-earned place in the Hall of Fame.

But beyond the titles, it’s his role as the world’s best lead-out rider that has defined him. Fearless at the front, carving the path to victory for the fastest sprinters in the World Tour. The rider who makes the win possible.

That role became the name of our tribute collection: LEADout BY EXAMPLE.

Because Mørkøv has always led from the front. On the team. In the peloton. And now, in his new chapter as national coach for the Danish road team.

The design says it all. At the front rides the lead-out — dressed in red, a nod to Mørkøv in the Danish national jersey. Over the left chest sits the line LEADout BY EXAMPLE — placed close to the heart, inspired by his own words:

“Always bring your heart into everything you do.”

Respect to Michael Mørkøv — for an extraordinary career, and for setting the standard for the generations coming up behind him.
