The thrill of the tour in Odsherred’s mountains
Held in the stunning Odsherred on a 37 km long one-way circuit.
Participants can choose between 1 to 4 laps, including a competitive start.
It’s Denmark’s safest cycling race with one-way roads.
Held since 2018, with an increasing number of participants and a record of 1,101 participants in 2024.
We expect over 1,500 participants on August 30, 2025.
The “celebration” after you’ve cycled, featuring an expo, live music, food, and drinks, is just as important as the race itself.Join a top professionally organized recreational cycling race in UNESCO Global Geopark Odsherred’s breathtaking glacial landscape. A part of the route was included in stage 2 of the Tour de France, which passed through Odsherred in 2022. With magnificent views and 520 meters of elevation gain, Geopark Bjerg Grand Prix offers a truly unique cycling experience. Over 1,100 recreational cyclists participated in the 2024 edition of the race.
Denmark’s most beautiful and challenging cycling route awaits at Geopark Bjerg Grand Prix, held in Odsherred’s UNESCO-recognized glacial landscape in Northwest Zealand. The dramatic and hilly terrain has historically attracted major cycling events. The route has hosted Denmark Rundt multiple times, and a part of it was included in stage 2 of the Tour de France, which went through Odsherred in 2022.
The route features 520 meters of elevation gain per lap, with beautiful views of the landscape and the sea. Each lap is 37.5 km, and with the option to cycle up to 4 laps, you can cover 150 km and more than 2,000 meters of elevation gain.
Participants are sent out on the route in groups of 100 cyclists, starting with those who are cycling 4 laps. The first group will depart at 9:00 AM, and the race concludes around 2:00 PM.
Refreshment stations with liquids and snacks are located at the start/finish line.
