With a beautiful scenery we invite you to the world’s largest recreational bike challenge, Vätternrundan315km. The first Vätternrundan took place in 1966 with just over 300 riders, and since then the ride has grown to be a must for cyclists worldwide. Today Vätternrundan consists of different bike challenges with start and finish in Motala; Vätternrundan315km, Halvvättern150km, Vätternrundan100km, Tjejvättern100km, MTB-Vättern and Mini-Vättern for the youngest participants. By participating in one of our events, you are not only experiencing the beautiful sceneries of Lake Vättern but also many important natural and historical heritages, like the medieval town Skänninge, Göta Kanal the largest Swedish construction project in modern times and the hilly forest Tiveden. Vätternrundan gathers almost 36 000 participants from all over the world, each year. The event takes place in June and is part of the Swedish Classic!
