Experience Bastian Emil - Live

🎙️ Experience 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹

At Copenhagen Bike Show 2026 you can experience Bastian Emil Goldschmidt. Author, journalist and one of the strongest communicators of cycling stories in Denmark right now.

Bastian Emil is known for his ability to put into words what many cyclists feel, but rarely formulate: The fascination of the pain threshold, the beauty of movement and the community in the sport. He writes and talks about cycling as more than training and results. As culture, identity and lifestyle.

He is behind several critically acclaimed books about cycling, including “Fremad” and “Verden af ville”, where he combines historical perspectives, reports and personal reflections. The books have made him a distinctive voice among both hardcore fans and those who love cycling for the atmosphere, stories and aesthetics.

Up until the Copenhagen Bike Show 2026, he is currently working on his latest book “The Days Are Gone Like Cyclists Over the Mountains”, where he delves even deeper into the human side of cycling.

Here he focuses on will, pain, time and passion – and why cycling continues to fascinate generation after generation. These are texts that speak to both the head and the heart and remind us why we fell in love with the sport in the first place.

As a speaker, Bastian Emil is present, committed and sharp. He draws on his books, his experiences from the inner circle of cycling and his great love for the bike. The audience can expect a presentation full of stories, recognition and inspiration – regardless of whether you race yourself, commute every day or just love to follow the sport.

Look forward to a lecture that celebrates cycling in all its complexity and that makes you want to jump back into the saddle.
