International cycling events in Denmark

2024 and 2025 will be a veritable cornucopia of wild international cycling events on Danish soil.

This year you can experience, among other things, the WC in track cycling, Gran Fondo Svendborg, the Gran Fondo WC and the recurring events DM in road cycling and PostNord Danmark Rundt.

In 2025, there will be UCI World Tour races for both men and women, and in July the world’s elite will compete at the BMX facility Ved Slusen in Amager.

Here, up to 4,000 BMX riders are expected to start at the WC.

On all shelves, Danish elite riders deliver top results in major cycling races, and you have the opportunity to see the wild performances up close when competing for medals, stage wins and championship jerseys.

Do you dream of cycling like Mads P., Cecilie Uttrup and Jonas Vingegaard? So take the chance and register for Gran Fondo Svendborg, which is part of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series. Here you can run single start and collective start in a professional setup. If you are fast on the line and among the best 25% in your age group, you qualify for the Gran Fondo WC (known as the amateur WC), which will be held in Aalborg in autumn 2024.
