Use of image and video material

Nordic Bike Shows A/S can record image and video material

During trade fairs organized by Nordic Bike Shows A/S, photo and video material may be recorded. We do not want to take pictures or video of you explicitly unless it is agreed in connection with an interview or similar, but you may appear in photo or video material if you happen to be close to or part of the event/fair that we are recording.

Below you can read more about how we process and store recordings of images and films that may include you.

Our purpose for recording video and image material
Nordic Bike Shows A/S organizes bike shows and both exhibitors, guests and the general public have an interest in experiencing media coverage of our shows.

Nordic Bike Shows A/S generally records image and video material at the fairs, typically in situations where a named person is being interviewed or where the atmosphere at a fair is to be reproduced – for example in the form of a reproduction of a specific event at the fair.

If you appear in such recordings, our purpose is not to show you as a person, but only the situation you appear in. Therefore, we do not register which people appear in the material.

Such recordings are used by Nordic Bike Shows A/S to disseminate information to exhibitors, guests and other stakeholders at trade fairs. Nordic Bike Shows A/S also uses such material for marketing purposes.

Therefore, you should expect that the recordings may be made public.

The basis for our processing
When we record and publish image and video material in which identifiable persons appear, these actions constitute processing of personal data.

Our basis for processing personal data in such situations is a balancing of interests, cf. GDPR Art. 6(1)(f). Our interests consist of being able to reproduce situations and moods from trade fairs etc. for both news dissemination and marketing purposes.

We only process ordinary types of personal data. That is, typically only information in the form of a picture of your person during your visit.

How long are the recordings stored for?
We save the edited images and video material for as long as we deem it to be relevant in terms of giving a true picture of the fair, as long as an interview is relevant, or as long as the recording may have a historical significance for us.

Therefore, we cannot say in advance how long we process data about the people appearing in image and video material, but it can be for several years.

Your rights
According to GDPR chapter 3, you have a number of rights as a data subject.

Your rights include that you can request Nordic Bike Shows A/S for insight into and rectification or deletion of image and video recordings we process about you, you can request a restriction of Nordic Bike Shows A/S’ processing of the data, and you can object to processing.

If you want to exercise your rights, you must provide us with sufficient information to enable us to identify the recordings in question (i.e. a link to the recording or precise indication of the situation, such as time, location/stand/hall, etc.), as we are not in possession of information about your identity in recordings.

If you are dissatisfied with our processing of image or video material in which you appear, you can exercise your rights and you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at www.datatilsynet.dk
