All components of the “Xyron S 8.9 MX Carbon” frame are made of carbon – from the main frame to the rocker and the rear triangle. Uphill, the bike benefits not only from the powerful Bosch “Performance CX” drive, but also from the gear ratio and precise shifting of the sporty derailleur by Shimano. Downhill, the “Xyron S 8.9 MX Carbon” impresses with its Fox suspension with “Performance 36 Float” fork with 160 mm travel and the “Float X” rear shock.

For reliable braking, the large-dimensioned hydraulic disc brakes are installed. The highest-capacity 750-Wh battery is completely hidden in the down tube, which ensures a clean look. The bearings, which are invisible from the outside, also serve this purpose.

To achieve more control and better handling, the “Xyron S 8.9 MX Carbon” comes with a combination of two different wheel sizes, a principle similar to that used in motocross racing. In front 29” – for better rolling characteristics over obstacles – and rear 27.5” for maneuverability and agile control. Fitted is the Schwalbe tire “Magic Mary” (62 mm front) and “Big Betty” (65 mm rear).
