Promoting your brand

Help us spread the word about your participation at the Copenhagen Bike Show.

All exhibitors have the opportunity to gain exposure through our SoMe channels, which include Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Through collaboration with our social media agency Best One, we have built solid audiences in the following categories:

  • The serious rider
  • The busy family with children
  • The dedicated commuter
  • The active senior
  • The travel-minded cycling tourist

Through the ExhibitorGuide, you can upload photos and videos that we can use to promote your brands.

Please provide material for posts, reels and stories on our SoMe channels.

If you have an idea for an article or a longer post on LinkedIn, please write to and we will give you a call.

The above is an example of a reel for the 2024 show.

We double your budget

If you want to promote your posts on our social media channels, we double the budget you allocate.

An example: If you want to boost your post with DKK 500, we will give you the same amount and the budget will be DKK 1,000 in total.

We have a lot of experience boosting this type of content, making it an inexpensive way to create extra visibility for your brand.

* You can choose to spend between DKK 100 to DKK 1,000 per brand. We will then set aside the same amount you choose.

The above are examples of posts for the 2023 show.

Target groups

The serious rider

The majority of our visitors can be described as serious riders.

It’s a group of mostly men who spend a lot of time and money on their passion: cycling

Many from this group have more than one bike, and the collection often consists of a road bike, as well as gravel and/or mtb.

Among the visitors in this target group, 74% are men, and they tend to come from all over the country – as well as southern Sweden – to attend the fair.

The age group is 35-70 years old.

38% of trade show visitors describe themselves as serious riders(survey from 2022).

The willingness to pay is high in this group, which is characterized by people with good finances, who live a healthy and active life and like to spend money on themselves and their hobbies.

The dedicated commuter

Many of our visitors use their bikes for more than just exercise and fun.

They are what you might call dedicated commuters.

A third of all commutes in the Capital Region are by bike, and studies show that half of all commuters in Denmark could cycle to work by (electric) bike.

There is a huge potential to get even more people cycling to and from work, education, etc.

Among the visitors in this target group, 67% are men, and they primarily come from the Greater Copenhagen area, Zealand and southern Sweden to attend the fair.

The age group is 25-55 years.

18% of trade show visitors describe themselves as dedicated commuters(survey from 2022).

The willingness to pay is quite high in this group and increases with age, as bikes and equipment are crucial elements in their transportation choices.

Physical wellbeing and focus on climate and environment are important parameters for this group.

The busy family with children

Many families with children in major Danish cities are increasingly opting out of the car, or at least the second car.

The challenges of finding parking space, as well as the growing cost of electricity or fuel, make the (electric) bike – and especially the (electric) cargo bike – an obvious alternative that more and more people are turning to.

Among the visitors in this target group, 62% are women and they primarily come from the Greater Copenhagen area, as well as larger urban areas in Zealand and southern Sweden.

The age group is 25-40 years old.

19% of trade show visitors describe themselves as belonging to this category (survey from 2022).

The willingness to pay for this group varies somewhat, but can be described as medium to high.

Practical considerations to ease everyday life in cities and a focus on quality time with their children are important parameters for this group.

The active senior

A smaller, but growing, proportion of trade show visitors can be described as active seniors.

They are characterized by being in better physical and mental shape than previous generations and enjoy being active on (electric) bikes.

Visitors in this target group typically come to the fair as a couple or with family and friends. Typically, they are from the Greater Copenhagen area, Zealand and to a lesser extent southern Sweden

The age group is approximately 65 years and older.

8% of trade show visitors describe themselves as active seniors (survey from 2022).

The willingness to pay is quite high in this group, as good quality e-bikes and relevant safety equipment are important to them.

Many seniors are quite well off and want to spend money on pampering themselves.

The travel-minded cycling tourist

Experiences by bike are something that more and more people are discovering. This can be recreational cycling, exploring beautiful landscapes, cycling trips at home or abroad, etc.

Many of the target group “The serious rider” can also be found in this group, which also includes families with children looking for ideas for summer cycling vacations, or seniors who want to explore new parts of Denmark or abroad. Typically on an e-bike.

Among the visitors in this target group, around 70% are men, and they tend to come from all over the country – as well as southern Sweden – to attend the fair.

The age group is 35-70 years old.

11% of trade show visitors are in this category (survey from 2022).

The willingness to pay is high in this group, who focus on a healthy and active life and like to spend money on themselves and their hobbies.
